Note 1: Some members have recently experienced difficulties with their exchange arrangements, due to allowing their membership to lapse prior to the actual exchange taking place.

Whilst there is no requirement to renew each year, it is wise to maintain current status, even if you've already arranged an exchange for the coming year.

Simply, you will not receive customer assistance from the HomeLink Organisers in other countries if you allow your membership to lapse. Many international Organisers also advise their members NOT to continue with an exchange with a member whose membership lapses. Why? If one party is not a current member, then both parties lose the protection of conducting a valid exchange under the HomeLink International umbrella.

For your protection and that of other members, it is best to maintain current membership status, even if you have confirmed your holiday plan for the coming year.

Note 2: There are now two HomeLink International books published each calendar year - January, and June editions.

Your listing is only published in one (1) HLI book during your personal 12 month membership period.

This is standard HLI policy. HomeLink Australia representatives have no authority to alter international policy.

Renewal deadlines (to be included in a specific Book) for 2005-06 season are:

January 2008 Edition (released Dec '07) - 15 October 2007

June 2008 Edition (released May '08) - 21 March 2008
